2010 PMU (Pregnant Mares Urine ) rescue is on!

This year we will be hauling to Missouri to rescue PMU babies that are going to slaughter and will be at a sale barn for auction. This year is a new journey for PH. We usually are able to work with the farmers. But now the farmers are forbidden to sell directly to the rescues. So, we are searching and finding the babies at sale barns. We need your help. Our goal is to raise $6,000. This will cover all expenses for hauling, buying, feeding, vaccinating, worming, gelding and what ever else might be needed for these babies. All the babies will be up for adoption. Please help us by making a

Annie is our newest member of the PH family. She was abandoned at a person's house and left with no food. The people called me to come get her and help her. She is very thin, has the worst sunburn I have ever seen, whip marks on her back and legs, bad barbed wire injury, the halter had grown into her face so open sores, feet that have not been trimmed in at least 6 months, and I could go on and on... Also I can see her teeth have never been floated and she has trouble chewing... Doc Wynn will fix them... I will update the website as she progresses and put better pics as we get groceries in her..
Help would be greatly appreciated! She will be on a special diet for the next couple months, vet bills and farrier bills...
